Hi, I'm having an issue with net trapping.  I've moved from red salamanders to black ones in the wild and the script auto closes saying I don't have the right trap setup even though I have ropes and small fishing nets in my inventory.

Im currently using this at red salamanders. But im considering trying this at red chins. I know that red chins have tons of other bots as well as legitimate players training there as well. Ive also seen a bunch of people in my cc that have mentioned that if you just place your box trap on the same spot as a bot thats picking theirs up, it allows you to place yours down before they can replace theirs and it effectively crashes the bot. How does this bot handle a situation like that?

It carefully records the traps it has so it knows if a trap is the bots or someone elses. You can set up "backup" tiles nearby that the bot will use when theres no main main tiles left (because they are being occupied). Additionally, there's an option to world hop if there's a hunters or players nearby.

I tested this at red chins. I was getting lower xp rates than at red salamanders. So I am back at red salamanders for now. I am trying to run this at Red Salamanders with 4 traps. I think you need to modify the script there. Its losing nets and rope occasionally and not always checking the last trap when its caught something, its prioritizing the 3 traps that are close together, which although is great for xp/hour, is not great when you want to run this for extended amounts of time. It catches the salamanders very quickly and gets caught up trying to reset those 3 grouped traps vs the last one that is further away. Ive attached a picture of  the culprit trap that is causing loss of rope/net/successful catches that timeout from not being checked. Also in my opinion, the script should prioritize checking the caught traps that are set to expire first.

Could you possibly take a gif of when it actually loses a trap and send the debug with it? It does already prioritize things that are running out of time. I hardly ever lost any traps from getting 90 hunter doing salamanders so I am unable to replicate any issues, I will need some extra information to understand the situation. Are you using the tribot break handler or the scripts built-in random afk'ing or mini-breaking at all? Have you modified abc2 delays within advanced preferences at all?

ill try to get a gif of it happening. im not watching it all the time and only notice it when there are less sets of net/rope in my inventory after awhile. i know that i am not using any breaks, and havent touched any afk settings. I may have lowered the abc2 delays a smidge but Id have to double check. Is there a way to reset all settings back to defaults?

Yes if you delete your settings files (click file -> load in the GUI to see where they are stored), though lowering abc2 reaction times should actually speed the script up so that cause losing traps

Ill have to take a video of the script running to get a clip of when it loses the net. I reset the script back to default settings, and tribots mouse speed variance is set to 0. client paint delay is 0 as well.

im doing black chins and after a few inventories and successful world hopping the bot goes inactive upon return to the black chin hunting area. it still performs its anti-ban but will not put down traps. i have the correct number of traps and have gone over the settings 100 times. any help would be great!

I believe you said this in my discord too, I need a gif and the debug to fully understand what is happening. Preferably message in discord because it is faster.

Anyone got any recommendations on how many hours a day to run this bot?

Think of it this way: how much are you able to do hunter manually? Jagex's anti-bot system always assumes human behavior. If you're botting on a main I would say that max. 30 mins of hunter botting and then move on to another activity. It's not possible for a human to do hunter for more than an hour at least, your fingers would break as it's a click-intensive skill. Even if you grind hunter manually for hours on end, you'd take small breaks (mini-breaks / afking).

I'm doing hunter for the first time and I got some major issues with feldip weasels. I mark the bushes they are hiding at and after pressing start script it just ends. I have the noose wand equipped.

Nothing special in the debug it just stops, does the script even support low level stuff? Also I'm having trouble deciding what should I choose on the settings for weasels (box/net/snare) wiki only talks about that wand.

The script it self seems really great a lot ABCL2 and settings to tinker with.

Cheers

The script only supports bird snares, box traps, and net traps, as stated in the forums thread/title + repository description

What's a good setup for wilderness black chins? Mine is a bit too aggressive and hops too much

Almost the pker recognition algorithm is entirely customizable - you can visit advanced preferences -> anti-pk -> scoring. I think the default setup is the best but of course people can disagree with me which is exactly why I offer customization the algorithm.

Is there anyway to change the priority for hunting. the bot quite often misses a caught sally while resetting  failed traps.

Could you possibly take a gif of this when it happens and send me it along with the debug?

Do you want the bot debug or client Debug?
