  1. Update: Now that the new repository and TRiBot 12 are out, we've had time to continue working on TRiBot X. Here's our current progress with the UI: The UI will be mostly complete within the coming weeks. We're also working on the API which is much better organized than our current API. It will also be mostly complete within the coming weeks. Our current timeline puts an official release in the second quarter of 2021 with betas and release candidates along the way. We've extended the timeline to ensure a flawless final product.
  2. TRiBot 12 Release Candidate The TRiBot team has been hard at work creating the last major version of TRiBot before the TRiBot X release. We've noticed many problems with TRiBot 11 with a lot of users preferring TRiBot 10 over 11. We've heard you, so we took TRiBot 10, added the new features introduced with 11, introduced some other new things, and created TRiBot 12. So without further adieu, here's TRiBot 12. Java 15 TRiBot 12 moves away from the old and dated Java 8 to the latest version of Java - Java 15! Benefits to users: Improved performance Script writers can use the latest Java language features Smaller installer size Gradle Launcher TRiBot 12 kills the dated TRiBot Loader in favour of using Gradle for version management and release distribution. The login now directly uses our Auth0 integration for better security and reliability. Benefits to users: Faster updates - it is now much easier and quicker for our developers to publish updates More reliable login flow - no more CloudFlare problems during login More reliable dependency management - we spend more time providing valuable updates and less time managing our dependencies Note: The TRiBot Installer/Launcher does not keep a Gradle daemon process running for those who are wondering. Modularization TRiBot 12 starts our modularization journey. This means we've begun splitting up our codebase into separate modules. Benefits to users: Faster updates - we can create more frequent, smaller updates because the codebase for each module is smaller Increased reliability - de-coupling of our software components mean bugs will occur less often and will be less complex and therefore easier to fix FAQ How do you use Looking Glass with TRiBot 12? TRiBot 12 only supports launching Looking Glass through the TRiBot client and at this time only supports OpenOSRS (https://openosrs.com/). Make sure you download the .jar version of OpenOSRS and have the GPU plugin disabled. RuneLite support is in the works and is in its final stages of development. OSBuddy does not support Java 15 and is no longer supported unless it is updated. How do you launch TRiBot 12 from the CLI? You will need to use TRiBot's gradle launcher (https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-gradle-launcher). Currently the README is outdated, so check back again within the next couple of days for updated guidelines on how to use the TRiBot gradle launcher. A large TRiBot logo appears and nothing happens? When you first launch TRiBot, all of TRiBot's dependencies must be downloaded. As long as the TRiBot logo is being displayed, TRiBot is working correctly. Wait for the logo to disappear and then the TRiBot login or client should display. The dependencies are cached so this process will be much faster after the first time you launch TRiBot. My accounts, break profiles, and/or proxies are missing? You can import your old accounts, break profiles, and proxies using the legacy importer tools under the Tools menu. Thanks goes out to @Rileyz for his hard work with marketing. Download TRiBot 12 and start using it today! Thank you all for your patience and support in making TRiBot the best it can be!
  3. We've added support for generating store discount codes using your existing repository credits. To generate your own discount code, click the button at the top of this page: https://repo.tribot.org/.
  4. It looks like the new store has caused a problem with the TRiBot Loader. We're aware of the issue and are working on it.
  5. Seven years ago, we launched our first script repository. Six and a half years ago, we launched the current version. Time has sure flew by! We've wanted to redesign the repository for years now but the initiative kept being pushed back. Not anymore! We haven't just redesigned the repository, we've completely redone it. Times are bleak with the coronavirus pandemic, but we refuse to sit still. So without further ado, we present to you the new TRiBot Store! To celebrate this launch, a 10% discount will be automatically applied to every order at checkout until the end of the month! Features Monkfish Points Get rewarded the more you buy from and interact with us! Product Filter Filter through all of our scripts with ease. Advanced Search We help you find what you're looking for. Payment Methods We've expanded the payment methods we accept, which are: Visa MasterCard American Express PayPal Apple Pay Android Pay Shopify Pay AliPay UnionPay Bitcoin Ethereum You want to buy our products? More translations to come in the future. Product Pages A more beautiful, organized product page. Product Reviews Rate and review scripts with ease. See what customers are saying. Filter by product rating. Much, Much More Since we're using Shopify, we have an endless possibility of features to incorporate. AI powered recommendations are next to come! We will continually update our store to give users the best experience possible. What Didn't Make the Cut? This has been a very large project worked on by the whole team. A lot of changes have been planned, but some of them are not quite ready yet. Don't worry though, we're still hard at work on them. Some of these changes include: New script instancing (licensing) system: more reliable and robust than what we have right now New script development/deployment model: using the latest DevOps tools to speed up development and deployment of our premium scripts New client session management system: more reliable and robust than what we have right now Business Logic Changes Discontinuation of 'Free' Scripts Keeping customers happy is our number one goal. Botting bans are the number one problem we face in ensuring customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, most free scripts are not good quality. Jagex can easily classify you as a bot if the script you're using bugs out, and many of our free scripts do just this. Further, most of our free scripts do not incorporate adequate cloaking (TRiBot Cloak™ component: anti-ban compliance - ABC). We don't want you to pay for our products only to end up getting banned because you used a malfunctioning free script. Furthermore, the more people using TRiBot (free scripts specifically), the more data Jagex has on us. By discontinuing free scripts, Jagex will have less data on us as a whole. Having less data makes it harder to profile and ban our bots. We know this change may be cumbersome for many of our users. Therefore we will still allow users to use our free scripts from the old repository for the time being. We will continue to support users being able to create and run their own (local) scripts. VIP Price Changes VIP Extended (now the Premium Plan) has increased to $10/month to support our growing costs. We're spending more money to give customers the best experience possible and this money has to come from somewhere. But we have a surprise for our loyal customers... Our VIP/VIP Extended (Standard/Premium) plans are now cheaper if you purchase a year long plan. The Standard Plan (VIP) is $4/month and the Premium Plan (VIP Extended) is $6/month when purchased for the year (billed annually). Other Considerations As much as we want to centralize all of our user accounts, we weren't able to use Auth0 to manage store accounts. So unfortunately, everyone will have to create a new account on the store. This account will be linked to your other accounts using a custom Auth0 integration. Please make sure to visit the forums at least once prior to making a purchase. Otherwise your order won't be able to be issued to your account. Credits All of these improvements could not have been possible without the hard work from our amazing team. Thank you @Rileyz, @Encoded, @Wastedbro, and @Fluffee. All of you are wonderful!
  6. Please welcome @CFritz as our new engineering team lead. As TRiBot's first full-time employee (other than myself; everyone else is part-time), she's going to really accelerate our growth! She has experience working with AI and will present much value in transforming our bots to be as human-like and intelligent as possible.
  7. Gradle is a build tool used to accelerate developer productivity. We recently setup a Maven repository (TRiBot Central) to make it easier for scripters to create scripts. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-central/-/packages Furthermore, we've released a simple Gradle project to make it easy to run TRiBot and develop scripts for it. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-gradle-launcher The goals of TRiBot Central are to: Deliver updates to TRiBot faster Better organize TRiBot's dependencies (AKA dependancies) Make it easier to develop scripts for TRiBot Make it easier to use and run TRiBot Note: TRiBot won't be able to run scripts from within this project until TRiBot's next release.
  8. Fix logger issues (Thanks @Encoded) Fix world hopper issues
  9. Hey everyone, we have some sad news to share with you. @Todd will no longer be on the TRiBot team. The reason is confidential so we can’t say much about this. What we can say is that TRiBot is alive and well. The direction of TRiBot is also changing slightly: TRiBot 11 will only be receiving bug fixes and slight improvements (no new features) TRiBot X is now going to receive our full attention (TRiBot Mobile will be merged into TRiBot X) Big changes coming soon: New backend server code: more reliable with less problems New script repository TRiBot X Updates: The new script repository is almost complete. We just need to connect it to the backend and test the purchasing flow. ETA is September 07, 2020. TRiBot X development was put on hold while we worked on TRiBot 11, re-writing our backend software, and developing the new repository. The backend work and new repository were deemed necessary for TRiBot X, so they obviously had priority. Having them will really improve TRiBot X’s reliability and user experience. ETA for TRiBot X Developer Preview is October 2020. ETA for TRiBot X General Availability is November 2020. Today may be a sad day, but TRiBot’s future is bright.

  11. I've noticed some users have been having troubles logging in because their email has not been verified. I've added a rule to automatically resend verification emails when users try to login with an unverified email. Please send either myself or @Fluffee a message on Discord if you continue to experience problems logging in. My Discord: TRiLeZ#8944 Fluffee's Discord: Fluffee#9509
  12. Hi everyone, I'd like to thank everyone for their patience in this transition period. Since last week, we've worked out the remaining bugs with this integration. Some users have still been having issues with connecting their forums account to their Auth0 account. To resolve this, we've imported all forums accounts into Auth0. Unfortunately, the accounts which were imported today were using an unsupported password hashing algorithm. Hence, random passwords were set during the import. What does this mean for me? If you've previously linked your forums account to your Auth0 account, you don't have to do anything. Nothing changes for you. If you haven't logged in via our new login yet, Try logging in with your forums email address and the last password you used If you are unable to login, please use the "Forgot password" tool on the login page: Follow the instructions to reset your password
  13. Hello everyone, Last week we tried to roll out Auth0 Login, but we lost that battle. Now it's time to win the war! Important changes When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being) Changes for existing users You'll have to link your Auth0 account to your forums account here: https://tribot.org/forums/settings/login/?service=11 Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login. Important notes Make sure to verify your email address upon creating a new Auth0 account When we mention your Auth0 account, we mean your account used for auth.tribot.org as displayed below

    Auth0 Login

Please create an additional password for your forums account, then login to the bot using your forums display name and password. We'll fix the Auth0 integration next week. Please let me know if doing the above solves the problem for you.

    Auth0 Login

These changes have been temporarily reverted. We've identified all of the problems users are having and will fix them then re-implement the changes next week.
