OSRS scripts often require setting up complex decision trees, in one form or another, in order to achieve the necessary workflow from the bot. The OOP solution to this is to create a DecisionTree class and have many DecisionNode classes, each with an ifValid() and an ifNotValid() function. However, this results in long convoluted path structures, and can result in an ungodly number of files, if the logic gets complex. The FP solution is to create a set of functions that can handle the same logic, using any() and all() methods to mimic nested if statements built with && a

Hey guys, What's up? Not sure if anyone remembers me but I have been gone for a while. I was in college and have finally finished my 3rd semester of java. I am excited about making some scripts this summer. Classes are over and I finally have some free time so I'm here hoping that someone might answer some questions. Well, basically, how has OSRS changed in the past couple months? I remember reading a post about a f2p time limit for trading or something. Could someone please explain that to me? Also is it also for new member accounts or just f2p? Anything special happening/has happ

Hello, I am a CS student interested in becoming a script writer in the near future. I have done a lot of research on scripts and I wanted to ask those that are experienced: What are the different types of scripts? I have seen some that use states, while others seem to just through a bunch of nodes into a collection and loop through them checking all of the conditions for them to execute. What is in your own individual opinion your preferred way to write a script? Why? And which way do you think is best? Also, please don't hesitate to leave any tips for me. I am new to scripting. :] P.

Hello, I'm trying to setup Tribot in eclipse and for some reason the javadoc isn't working. I go into the build path and add this javadoc location for the tribot.jar in the library tab, but I can't get it to work. I've tried searching all of these outdated tutorials that are out, but nothing. If someone could give me any help, it would be greatly appreciated. Frosty P.S. This is the javadoc location i'm using: https://www.tribot.org/doc/

Hi guys, I'm Karmik! Currently I'm working on a project and anyone else who wants to help program with me and throw Ideas around is welcome to. What is the project? What I have so far: A skeleton of a skeleton to run a task. A state for traversing A state for banking A state for the task actions These will be more specific with presets later on, but for now, it's all good. A wrapper and object that holds bank/inventory actions, high level, so you don't have to do anything other than say what you want to do, instead of having to define which object and where for the mou
