"We almost always apply a permanent ban when we find someone who's cheating, but on rare occasions, depending on a number of circumstances, we'll instead opt to issue a temporary ban with trade & game restrictions to act as a very firm warning, as well as removing anything gained through cheating. These are extremely rare cases though, and the main message is: cheating won't go unpunished!

We continue to make improvements to our hijacking detection systems, which allow us to lock accounts which we can confirm were hijacked at the time macro use was detected, which prevents a ban being applied."

Anecdote from an anonymous user:

I figured I wouldn't post it myself on your thread for the safety of my account, but they mention they can confirm when accounts were hijacked and botted on resulting in a ban.

I was actually part of the 0.0027% who were unbanned on the first round of the official account permanently banned hijacked list. However- I paid for my account to have void done on it from a Sythe user, who decided to bot on it even though I paid for the hand done method. I was permanently banned mid-way through the service and was refused unbannings for a year and a half via Reddit. Then they unbanned me no questions asked through that forum post.

My main point- they have not a clue who was hijacked and who was on a vpn.

I had also botted a few times for minor things like 40-60 mining, or 50-59 agility for a few quests. But they didn't detect that either when reviewing the account.

I thought I'd add my own as well. I can confirm I have paid a website service to do JAD on my account and had another user do Zulrah for me for achievement diaries on two separate occasions under different IP addresses. I know for a fact the JAD one would've been flagged as a service provider, but as they did not bot the fightcaves I wasn't banned. I've used a VPN for around 20 different botting sessions on my main account over the last 3 months and if I ever get banned and one of these threads pops up will also post my name and see how it goes.

You realize there was client detection for more than 1 client. Thousands of accounts got banned. I'm fairly sure the numbers are accurate.

I had forgotten this. I was going to say that would only account for the RS3 bans, but many people were using the same account for OSRS and were subsequently banned on OSRS as well.

Hello, I would really appreciate some advice since it's lookin kinda hopeless.
I'm getting consistent bans on p2p accounts with nFletcher, within 24-48 hours, even though I am botting with randomized breaks, doing some manual selling/restocking every 1-2 hours. I did not bot during the night, maybe 3 sessions for 3-4 hours per day TOPS.
I even did some slayer in between every 1-2 hours on my semi-main and it just got banned for 2 days regardless (ty god no perma, obviously not gonna bot on a valuable account ever again, that was dumdum)
Am I doing something wrong or what? This seems completely unprofitable and unsustainable. I am not into this as much as to create a bot farm, but I wanted to do a total of 10ish m/day on 1-2 accounts and this seems impossible.
Any advice? Thank you so much in advance

Hello everyone,i was just thinking about methods jagex is using to ban bots. I am wondering whether it is possible to get ban when you are botting in ideal conditions - like lets say hypotetically you have fresh new IP never logged in to runescape, you have fresh new computer, you will log into runescape with Looking Glass Bot and use private script with ABC2 methods implemented 100% and debugged to be without mistakes and you watch for the bot all day and respond to everyone. Can jagex still detect you are botting? If so, how? I mean when it looks like 100% you're not a bot, your reaction times are human like, click points are human like... what's the difference between human playing then and bot, how they can differentiate them apart?

    • TRiBot 12 Release Candidate

The TRiBot team has been hard at work creating the last major version of TRiBot before the TRiBot X release. We've noticed many problems with TRiBot 11 with a lot of users preferring TRiBot 10 over 11. We've heard you, so we took TRiBot 10, added the new features introduced with 11, introduced some other new things, and created TRiBot 12. So without further adieu, here's TRiBot 12.

    • Gradle is a build tool used to accelerate developer productivity.

We recently setup a Maven repository (TRiBot Central) to make it easier for scripters to create scripts. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-central/-/packages

Furthermore, we've released a simple Gradle project to make it easy to run TRiBot and develop scripts for it. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-gradle-launcher

The goals of TRiBot Central are to:

      Deliver updates to TRiBot faster

Better organize TRiBot's dependencies (AKA dependancies)

Make it easier to develop scripts for TRiBot

Make it easier to use and run TRiBot

Note: TRiBot won't be able to run scripts from within this project until TRiBot's next release.

    • Hi everyone,

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience in this transition period. Since last week, we've worked out the remaining bugs with this integration.

Some users have still been having issues with connecting their forums account to their Auth0 account. To resolve this, we've imported all forums accounts into Auth0.

Unfortunately, the accounts which were imported today were using an unsupported password hashing algorithm. Hence, random passwords were set during the import.

What does this mean for me?

If you've previously linked your forums account to your Auth0 account, you don't have to do anything. Nothing changes for you.

If you haven't logged in via our new login yet,

Try logging in with your forums email address and the last password you used

If you are unable to login, please use the "Forgot password" tool on the login page:
Follow the instructions to reset your password

    • Hello everyone,

Last week we tried to roll out Auth0 Login, but we lost that battle. Now it's time to win the war!

      Important changes

When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials

Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being)

      Changes for existing users

You'll have to link your Auth0 account to your forums account here: https://tribot.org/forums/settings/login/?service=11

Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login.

      Important notes

Make sure to verify your email address upon creating a new Auth0 account

When we mention your Auth0 account, we mean your account used for auth.tribot.org as displayed below
