Usage can depend on the script heavily as well since some scripts are more fairly optimized then others. I'd guess 5-7 should run very smoothly on that rig. You can even possible run 10 if you push it or overclock it or something.

When it comes to botting OSRS. Prioritize CPU over RAM or anything else generally. More CPU = more bots. Decent RAM helps but not as much as CPU does.

Hello, firstly i'd like to say that running a bot on mac is 1000x more difficult than running a bot on a windows. I've downloaded Tribot and have jdk-11.0.1.
I keep getting an error which I've linked below. Please help as I've been trying to run a bot on this macbook forever. It seems impossible.
      Thanks,
      Medieval

Hello, Willing to pay someone $20 to help me get this set up by using skype chat. I currently have a Macbook Pro and have tried everything possible on all forums. Uninstalled java, removed firewall, anti virus, reinstalled java and reinstalled osrs while deleting all cache on both accounts. done this multiple times and still no luck.

Hey guys first time posting on TriBot but I am really struggling to get it to run on my Mac. It wants to run but it always encounters the same error which is it says Exception in thread "AWT-EventQue-1"java.lang.unsatisfiedlinkerror:Cant load library: / Usersxxxxxxx/Library/application support/tribot/dependancies/libtogl.so . I know that anyone with minor knowledge of computers could fix this problem in seconds, but I don't have the slightest clue as to how to fix this. All i am trying to do is run TriBot with a private proxy for RS3. If anyone can help me resolve this issue comment on here or leave another way I can contact you I'd really appreciate it. Willing to pay $10 to anyone that can help me. Thank you.

      Hey guys,

Totally new to this, but from what I've taken so far is that it's best to use a proxy. Only using 1 bot currently, but I figured I would try to do it the right way. Anyhow, I downloaded Maxthon for Mac, got a proxy through Proxyfish- and I don't know how to set it up.

When I go into Maxthon, I hit advanced settings, then I hit 'change proxy settings' and my macs network settings pops up.  See attachment.
      From proxyfish I received an:
      IP address
      'Port'
Along with a username and password. Where do I properly add the information I was given into the spaces shown in the attachment?
Ive tried putting the IP first, port second in the smaller box, and of course the username and password in their respective boxes- which did not work.

Huge noob here, but trying to learn.
      Thank you

      Hello,
So I found the Mac guide that works through most common errors and issues with the Mac install, but I'm still having issues.
Here are screenies of everything that was commonly asked for in the previous thread I read to work through this.
The 'you need Java...' message is what launches whenever I try to load Tribot
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

      Hello,

I have been doing some research recently and speculating on the ways Jagex trace devices and networks that players play on.

Firstly, we know that your global IP address can be seen easily outside your local network.

Secondly, your MAC address. I understand that it's not visible outside your router. I have seen a lot of people say that Jagex aren't able to see your MAC address but I am certain there are software and scripts that allow them to collect your devices information, including HWID and MAC address. I know this because, here, in the U.K gambling websites install a tracing tool whenever you make a new account that collects vasts amounts of data, anything there is to know about your device (device information, specifications, operating system version and even browsing history) and stores it on remote servers. This is to prevent people creating multiple accounts and abusing their promotional offers. The tool is called "iesnare" or "mpsnare" and it is completely legal for them to collect your information as it's stated in their terms and conditions. Now back to Jagex, as the Runescape client is a downloadable software, it is completely possible for them to collect various information about your device. In fact, their Privacy Policy states it clearly that they DO collect your device information as stated in this post here: https://tribot.org/forums/topic/67175-can-runescape-see-my-system-information/

      Now to my main questions:

      1. I read many threads on this forum and people suggest using proxies for multiple account botting. So if I wanted to bot on 25 different accounts and had set 25 different proxies for every single one of them, that would result in me botting on 25 different clients with unique IP addresses. Nevertheless, people who do this don't get chain-banned frequently and I have no idea why as Jagex can clearly see that you are running those clients from the same device.

      2. Lastly, if I were to setup 5 virtual machines and run 5 clients through 5 proxies on each VM, would that be seen by Jagex as 5 different devices running 5 clients each through proxies (so each client would have a different IP but they would still be able to see every 5 clients originating from the same device)?

Any input and suggestions are really appreciated!

      Hello,
Im going to be buying VIP or VIP E, which option VIP or VIP E provides looking glass client tho? In addition, VIp- E says it has proxy options, but cant you control to a VPn like expressvpn and then login on Tribot to bot?
And also when purchasing a script It says e.g Price 2.99 Per Auth, timespan 30 days.
Does that mean when you purchase the script it is available for 30 days however each login use of that script requires another 2.99$?
      What does Per Auth mean?

Im sorry but im noob to this, please explain it to me, Thanks:)

    • Gradle is a build tool used to accelerate developer productivity.

We recently setup a Maven repository (TRiBot Central) to make it easier for scripters to create scripts. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-central/-/packages

Furthermore, we've released a simple Gradle project to make it easy to run TRiBot and develop scripts for it. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-gradle-launcher

The goals of TRiBot Central are to:

      Deliver updates to TRiBot faster

Better organize TRiBot's dependencies (AKA dependancies)

Make it easier to develop scripts for TRiBot

Make it easier to use and run TRiBot

Note: TRiBot won't be able to run scripts from within this project until TRiBot's next release.

    • Hi everyone,

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience in this transition period. Since last week, we've worked out the remaining bugs with this integration.

Some users have still been having issues with connecting their forums account to their Auth0 account. To resolve this, we've imported all forums accounts into Auth0.

Unfortunately, the accounts which were imported today were using an unsupported password hashing algorithm. Hence, random passwords were set during the import.

What does this mean for me?

If you've previously linked your forums account to your Auth0 account, you don't have to do anything. Nothing changes for you.

If you haven't logged in via our new login yet,

Try logging in with your forums email address and the last password you used

If you are unable to login, please use the "Forgot password" tool on the login page:
Follow the instructions to reset your password

    • Hello everyone,

Last week we tried to roll out Auth0 Login, but we lost that battle. Now it's time to win the war!

      Important changes

When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials

Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being)

      Changes for existing users

You'll have to link your Auth0 account to your forums account here: https://tribot.org/forums/settings/login/?service=11

Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login.

      Important notes

Make sure to verify your email address upon creating a new Auth0 account

When we mention your Auth0 account, we mean your account used for auth.tribot.org as displayed below

    • To better support the upcoming changes (TRiBot X, new repository), we're switching our login handler to Auth0. Instead of logging in with the standard form, you'll now be required to login through our Auth0 application.

All existing accounts which have been used within approximately the past year have been imported into Auth0 using the same email and password combination which has been stored on the forums.

What does this mean for users?

Your account credentials are now even more securely stored

You'll be able to login via Facebook, Google, and others in the future

Is there anything users have to do differently now?

Existing users: You'll have to login with the standard login, open your Account Settings, then link your Auth0 account

New users: You'll be redirected to our Auth0 app (auth.tribot.org) where you'll be able to create an account

      Why was this change made?

The new apps we are creating (such as the new repository) aren't able to use the forums to handle user logins

To centralize all user accounts in one area

To ensure that the client login doesn't go down when the forums are having problems

      To speed up our development

      Other considerations

There's no documentation or official support for using Invision Community combined with Auth0, so there are still a few kinks we're working out

We're in the works of creating an account management panel specifically for Auth0 accounts (ETA August)

It's not possible to change email addresses for the time being (this will be resolved this August)

Changing passwords is a weird process for the time being. To change your password, you'll have to use the "Don't remember your password" tool on the Auth0 login page

    • Over the past month, we've been working hard on TRiBot's new repository - a much needed update. This change has been deemed necessary for TRiBot X, and will allow us to really speed up development of all aspects of TRiBot.

Today we are going to share what we've been working on!

Now you must be wondering what kind of features the new repository will have.... well, you'll have to be patient for a little while longer. We're still figuring out various technical aspects so we can't provide answers to all possible questions. We're also focusing on development rather than writing about it so that everyone can get access to our latest developments at lightning speed. I will however answer a few users' questions.

We're planning on a release of this early to mid August, giving users some goodies before TRiBot X's release.

Thank you all for being patient. I hope everyone is excited as much as I am!
