I need help with the AFK settings also.

I suggest using the default settings.

What would be an example of afking out for a 10 minute break every hour?

It would be something like this:

Hi, just bought the script and it's really good so far! For the agility pyramid can you add the option to sell at a certain number of pyramid tops? In the case you aren't level 75 agility you can still fail obstacles, and the fail rate is amplified by being overweight, and pyramid tops are 11kg each.

I haven't used it long enough to know what happens when all your waterskins are empty (I would assume it just log out?), but an option to use humidify, or run to Pollnivneach to refill would also be good!

You can easily do this yourself by filling the inventory with more water skins. The amount of free inventory slots will determine the maximum amount of pyramids that the player will hold.

Although many believe this to be the case, weight does not play any role whatsoever in determining the success rate of agility obstacles.

Wow, interesting. Even the wiki implies that incorrectly. Thanks for the quick reply!

Einstein-

I believe a fault in many scripts (not specifically yours) is the fact that the cursor stays on screen at all times. Personally, when I afk I frequently move my mouse off screen to interact with other programs on my computer.

Are you willing to add this functionality during AFK breaks?

something like:

    //on AFK trigger

    x = 0

    y = random.randrange(0,windowHeight)

    cursor.goto(x,y)

    //continue AFK process

Additionally, as a primarily python programmer, I am interested in writing scripts to put on my resume; I have no interest in goldfarming. Are you receptive to answering some questions via DM/discord/email?

Huge fan of your work, keep it up. You do great things for the community.

This script in particular uses ABC2, which is based on statistical analysis of real human playing data. The mouse being on and off the screen is controlled by it.

Currently not planned.

Time is very scarce at the moment, so I can't promise anything.

The only reliable RS wiki is the official one: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Agility_training

Quote: "To maximize experience rates, players should always run, keep their weight at 0 or below (...)".

This refers to the fact that reducing the weight as much as possible will lower the run energy depletion rate, which will result in higher XP rates. It doesn't specify anything about any effect on the success rate of obstacles, because it doesn't exist.

As far as I am concerned, this misconception comes from everybody's assumption that weight would affect success rates. If you were to try doing any of the agility obstacles in real life (please don't), weight would be incredibly important, so I can understand how this myth started.

Future development based on user feedback

-Poll Closed-

@trkgosu @felipe @unfortunatelynotorious @turkoize @kiqze @trihat @kieranw10 @nsfwgirl @banananoah @Jurii @Dj_Sammy @gangsta69 @amadnei @cashjake @trekr @dantan @xenaris @lergrodan @Fluffee @CyberWizard @ajc1234 @kushad @dananaa @NLREX @Uomanihs @Grey Doc @pizzadotcom @stoner1233 @haroon158 @Annonymous @New2bots1 @leek @Cwatty @1skyguy @mmz5 @michaelp433809 @hyyt8 @qwe

The poll has been closed with the following winning results:

1. Should agility boosting be removed to free up GUI space?

[63.16%] No. This is a useful feature.

2. Should the Swing based GUI be replaced with a FX one with added colors, images and animations?

[76.32%] No, the current GUI is plain and simple, exactly as it should be.

3. Rating of the current GUI (functionality, appearance, ease of use):

[2.63%] Very bad - The single negative vote in the poll. @felipe - Let me know how can I improve your experience. :P

          [0.0%] Bad

          [50.00%] Average

          [34.21%] Good

          [13.16%] Amazing

Conclusions

  • Agility boosting will not be removed from the script, and you will be able to use this feature as you please.
  • Whether or not the GUI technology will be changed from Swing to JavaFX is something that I've yet to decide. However, regardless of the outcome, the users' preference for simple and easy-to-use interfaces has been strongly expressed in the poll, and it will weight very heavy in future design decisions. I will continue to strive for simplicity, minimalism and elegance. I will go ahead and quote one of my heroes:

Thanks everyone for participating in the poll!

Your feedback on this matter was greatly appreciated, as it helps me to better understand how I can further improve my scripts for the community.

Thank you for using my software.

A problem has been detected and Relative Agility has teleported
to Lumbridge in an attempt to get the player un-stuck.

Just bought this and the GUI is bugged for setting up the bot. The image appears scrambled and mostly blank. I uploaded a screenshot to show how it appears when i start the bot

Please run TRiBot in lite mode (can be configured in settings), and let me know if the issue persists.

Whose Goldfarming support is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite happy though.
Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,
I watch him laugh. I cry hello.

He gives his Goldfarming support a shake,
And laughs until his belly aches.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

The Goldfarming is efficient, profitable and deep,
But he has promises to keep,
After cake and lots of sleep.
Sweet dreams come to him cheap.

He rises from his gentle bed,
With thoughts of kittens in his head,
He eats his jam with lots of bread.
Ready for the day ahead.

a lil poem while i wait

Updated!

Goldfarming Mode

Many thanks to @CyberWizard for testing this feature upon its release, a few hours ago.

Full ABC2 implementation

The custom reaction generator has been replaced by ABC2.

Teleporting to courses

The script is now capable of teleporting to courses:

  • Draynor: Lumbridge Home Teleport Spell
  • Seers' Village: Camelot teleport tab
  • Falador: Falador teleport tab
  • Varrock: Varrock teleport tab

Brimhaven Agility Arena (Karamja)

Has been restored!

This script is once again the only one in the repository to play this minigame.

[12:36:57] highlight_warning:[Network error] Script was unable to load the images!

[12:36:15] highlight_warning:[Network error] Make sure that the connection is allowed (View > Firewall) or disable TRiBot's firewall (File > Settings > TRiBot firewall)

That's why I didn't open the firewall.

  • Our picks

    • Gradle is a build tool used to accelerate developer productivity.

We recently setup a Maven repository (TRiBot Central) to make it easier for scripters to create scripts. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-central/-/packages

Furthermore, we've released a simple Gradle project to make it easy to run TRiBot and develop scripts for it. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-gradle-launcher

The goals of TRiBot Central are to:

      Deliver updates to TRiBot faster

Better organize TRiBot's dependencies (AKA dependancies)

Make it easier to develop scripts for TRiBot

Make it easier to use and run TRiBot

Note: TRiBot won't be able to run scripts from within this project until TRiBot's next release.

    • Hi everyone,

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience in this transition period. Since last week, we've worked out the remaining bugs with this integration.

Some users have still been having issues with connecting their forums account to their Auth0 account. To resolve this, we've imported all forums accounts into Auth0.

Unfortunately, the accounts which were imported today were using an unsupported password hashing algorithm. Hence, random passwords were set during the import.

What does this mean for me?

If you've previously linked your forums account to your Auth0 account, you don't have to do anything. Nothing changes for you.

If you haven't logged in via our new login yet,

Try logging in with your forums email address and the last password you used

If you are unable to login, please use the "Forgot password" tool on the login page:
Follow the instructions to reset your password

    • Hello everyone,

Last week we tried to roll out Auth0 Login, but we lost that battle. Now it's time to win the war!

      Important changes

When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials

Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being)

      Changes for existing users

You'll have to link your Auth0 account to your forums account here: https://tribot.org/forums/settings/login/?service=11

Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login.

      Important notes

Make sure to verify your email address upon creating a new Auth0 account

When we mention your Auth0 account, we mean your account used for auth.tribot.org as displayed below
      • 81 replies
    • To better support the upcoming changes (TRiBot X, new repository), we're switching our login handler to Auth0. Instead of logging in with the standard form, you'll now be required to login through our Auth0 application.

All existing accounts which have been used within approximately the past year have been imported into Auth0 using the same email and password combination which has been stored on the forums.

What does this mean for users?

Your account credentials are now even more securely stored

You'll be able to login via Facebook, Google, and others in the future

Is there anything users have to do differently now?

Existing users: You'll have to login with the standard login, open your Account Settings, then link your Auth0 account

New users: You'll be redirected to our Auth0 app (auth.tribot.org) where you'll be able to create an account

      Why was this change made?

The new apps we are creating (such as the new repository) aren't able to use the forums to handle user logins

To centralize all user accounts in one area

To ensure that the client login doesn't go down when the forums are having problems

      To speed up our development

      Other considerations

There's no documentation or official support for using Invision Community combined with Auth0, so there are still a few kinks we're working out

We're in the works of creating an account management panel specifically for Auth0 accounts (ETA August)

It's not possible to change email addresses for the time being (this will be resolved this August)

Changing passwords is a weird process for the time being. To change your password, you'll have to use the "Don't remember your password" tool on the Auth0 login page

    • Over the past month, we've been working hard on TRiBot's new repository - a much needed update. This change has been deemed necessary for TRiBot X, and will allow us to really speed up development of all aspects of TRiBot.

Today we are going to share what we've been working on!

Now you must be wondering what kind of features the new repository will have.... well, you'll have to be patient for a little while longer. We're still figuring out various technical aspects so we can't provide answers to all possible questions. We're also focusing on development rather than writing about it so that everyone can get access to our latest developments at lightning speed. I will however answer a few users' questions.

We're planning on a release of this early to mid August, giving users some goodies before TRiBot X's release.

Thank you all for being patient. I hope everyone is excited as much as I am!
