I can confirm it happens often - script logs out for a Tribot break and stays offline indefinitely.

I pasted script stack trace below. Although log says it's returning home, bot never actually did. When I logged in it was still in slay area.

This break was supposed to be 5 minutes long but 2.5hours passed offline until I stopped it manually.

I'm now trying to get it on an ironman and have a problem. I got Harpie Bug Swarms and so need a lantern and tinderbox. I've got 3 tinderboxes in my bank but it's saying I don't have any and closes. 

Glad to hear about your main! :D 

It needs a lit light source - you might not have the Firemaking level for the lantern you have, or something more complex. The easy solution is to light a light source yourself e.g. a candle and the script will use that :)

  • Improved Free Farming for Dragons/Brutal Black Dragons in terms of reliability
  • Improved returning home in terms of safety and responsiveness to changes
  • Core reliability changes for finding a Safe Spot
  • Will no longer carry out an end of task/trip sleep if your account has any chance of being in danger, which should reduce the risk of account deaths

Managed to make it work by lighting the lantern myself and seems to be fine now. Thanks.

Hey, 

The script still is not using the karamja gloves. Just started the script and it went straight to edge fairy ring and travelled that way instead of using the gloves 3 I have in the bank.

I did fix this and tested it too - can you send me your debug please so I can find out a little more? And can you just double check you have the Karamja gloves option selected in the GUI?

I've written a full guide on how to use the script - you should read this before using the script :) It's available on the front page of this thread and from the first page of the GUI ("Recommended Usage Guide").

It should all be very self-explanatory and everything you need is in the "Prayer" tab and under the "Equipment" tab, under "Prayer Equipment".

Hey just got 77 slayer on my ranged tank so I can make some money from wyverns brutal blacks and gargoyles and decided to try out the free farm on brutal and wyvern but it just gets stuck at bank. I even got it to the brutal blacks and it uses xerics to tele away then just stand there saying its navigating. Not a big deal since I planed to just bot the level but wanted to get use while I still had it.

It will likely be telling you what's up in the debug. The script definitely works well for all of the modes you mentioned, as large farmers are currently using it for exactly that :)

Can you create a list of superior monsters and the player decide which of them to avoid? The bot is still having difficulties with Marble gargoyle and Nechryarch, and I have died several times wasting 400k to retrieve items from death's coffers. Marble Gargoyle works great if the bot can quickly identify an open space and click on it when the projectile is sent. However, if it is surrounded by gargoyle (very often) it would right click and move there by that time that action is done the damage is already taken and the damage would just stack as the bot tries to recover by eating. For Nechryarch, the damage can't be sustain once multiple minions are summoned and the character would die even if safe eating is enable. The account level is high in terms of stats with BIS in gear.

Edit: I've seen players telling me dodge the projectile when I am babysitting. The bot would prioritize eating food rather than dodging projectile that is where the damage stack comes in.

On a second marble gargoyle of the trip, the bot recognizes the superior but doesn't active the dodging mechanism and I had to do it manually.

Are you using LG?

That's the issue - LG is incredibly unresponsive and has a number of bugs (client-related).

Projectile detection and interactions are about 3-4x slower than they're designed to be on LG. The script dodges perfectly and is fast enough to escape if it's dying on the normal client; the issue is LG.

Projectiles also break on LG within around 1-2 hours - this is a client bug that's been around for years. There's no way around it, they're just not detected after that time period. You'll notice it with cannon-reloading too - it will stop reloading early and only do it when the cannon is empty after a few hours. This is also linked to that projectile bug, as the script stops being able to detect cannoballs.

I think what you're experiencing is just a side-effect of the choice to use LG and not really something I can design the script around - it's all working entirely as intended when run on the normal client. I know that's not the ideal answer for you, but this isn't really something that is script-related and I've had to code lots of LG-specific changes to make the script functional on LG at all in its current state.

      The TRiBot Script SDK is an easy-to-use library for building TRiBot scripts. It is the recommended approach to building scripts moving forward over the old TRiBot API. It contains all the core things you need to build a script, and a ton of additional helpful stuff to get you using your scripts quicker.       It is now officially released. The official release guarantees we will support backwards compatibility for some period of time. See the 'backwards compatibility' section below for more info.

       

      How to use:

      There is multiple options, listed in the order they are recommended.

      1) Use the gradle template mentioned below

      2) Obtain through gradle

      Add this dependency: api("org.tribot:tribot-script-sdk:+")

      Add this repository: maven("https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/20741387/packages/maven")

      3) Take from your local filesystem in your .tribot/install folder. For example, on windows, you'd find it at "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\.tribot\install\tribot-client\lib\tribot-script-sdk-[version].jar"

      Users of the current API:

      There is no plans to remove TRiBot API. It will still be available. However, non-critical bugs probably won't be fixed. The SDK does depend on some of the API so fixing some things in the SDK will indirectly fix the API. However, bugs that have existed in the API for awhile will likely not be fixed. It's recommended to use the SDK moving forward. Let us know if there's something the SDK is missing.
