Here's what has changed since our last forum post if you haven't been following along in our discord.

  • Fixed third party jar loading for local scripts
  • Removed legacy account, proxy, and breaks data importers
  • Added accounts.csv and proxies.csv importers
    • The files must be in the ~/.tribot/settings/ folder and be named accounts.csv and proxies.csv
    • accounts.csv format: name,password,pin,world,skill,totpSecret or name,password
    • proxies.csv format: name,host,port,username,password
    • The importers can be found under the Tools menu within the client
  • Add getAllStats and getDetails to the automation client
  • Fix an issue with stopping script instances on script end
  • Reset login and world hopper timeouts on script end
  • Improve client FPS when multiple clients are open (pending a new installer release to take effect)
  • Update null SID login error message
  • Fix canvas freeze / black screen on script end
  • Improve clicking of out of game world hopper page buttons
  • Fix opening of all settings interface
  • Fix empty TOTP key exception
  • Add support for additional Looking Glass clients
    • Primarily adds back support for OSBuddy
    • To use LG with OSBuddy, java 8 must be your default java and you must launch the OSBuddy.jar using java 8. We recommend using https://adoptopenjdk.net/?variant=openjdk8&jvmVariant=hotspot, but Oracle JDK 8 update 112 64bit is also known to work.
    • You can check to see what your default java is by running command prompt and inputting java -version
    • LG still works with OpenOSRS using the OpenOSRS jar. The OpenOSRS client MUST be launched through TRiBot using the New Looking Glass Client (OpenOSRS) option. If you do not start OpenOSRS this way, TRiBot will not be able to attach Looking Glass to it.
  • Fix slr world list fetching
  • Close all interfaces on failed dismissible random event
  • Update gradle config heap size to passed mem cli arg value
  • Fix client paint delay
  • Fix setting of game options on resizable mode
  • Fix roof status hook
  • Clear all cached interfaces on client launch
  • Fix Projectile#getTarget out of bounds exception
  • Fix RSGraphicObject#getX and RSGraphicObject#getY (the bases are correctly added now)
  • Fix cache loader race condition (this should alleviate any issue to delete your jagex cache or double restart clients)
  • Fix RSTile#distanceToDouble so it works properly for all tile types
  • Fix in-game world hopper
  • Fix automation client getUsername so it now returns the username not the tab name
  • Change login bot to fail first try for locked and banned accounts
  • Fix CLI account overwrite
  • Fix in game world hopper caching
  • Fix CLI when not using a proxy
  • Fix the --charworld CLI argument
  • Disable UI scaling to avoid weird UI issues when switching monitors with different resolutions
  • Disable the themes menu while on lite mode
  • Fix issues where the login state might be detected incorrectly if using TOTP
  • Fix GameTabs.open(TABS.Options)
  • Rewrite (internally) the Options class to bring it back to fully functional due to game update
  • Fix proxy issue where blank port numbers were being parsed as integers, causing an exception
  • Fix proxy issue where tabs could not use proxies via CLI
  • Allow accounts to be specified without a password and then read from the accounts manager via their username. If the account is not present, no script will run
  • Increase depth of the recursion cap on RSInterface#isHidden calls to avoid it falsely returning early
  • Add CLI tab support
  • Add TOTP (RuneScape authenticator) support to the login bot
  • Fix skill total worlds sometimes getting detected as regular worlds
  • Add extra methods to the WorldHopper to try and make it more usable
  • Add WorldLocations to the RSServer class
  •  Improve handling of questions on world hop (i.e. PVP, Bounty Hunter, High Risk)
  • Silence some unnecessary exceptions to avoid confusion
  • Add General#getClientTabIndex (index of the currently open client tab)
  • Ensure the displayed heap is always the correct size
  • Add workaround for the RSInterface#isHidden stack overflow
  • Rename the proxy field in the Runtime Information screen
  • Add a minimize flag to CLI
  • Fix a broken call when getting the MAC address
  • Add logout option to menu bar
  • Fix NPE from WorldHopper#getWorldFromInt
  • Show login window if refresh token is invalid
  • Add membership status to runtime information

    • TRiBot 12 Release Candidate

The TRiBot team has been hard at work creating the last major version of TRiBot before the TRiBot X release. We've noticed many problems with TRiBot 11 with a lot of users preferring TRiBot 10 over 11. We've heard you, so we took TRiBot 10, added the new features introduced with 11, introduced some other new things, and created TRiBot 12. So without further adieu, here's TRiBot 12.

    • Gradle is a build tool used to accelerate developer productivity.

We recently setup a Maven repository (TRiBot Central) to make it easier for scripters to create scripts. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-central/-/packages

Furthermore, we've released a simple Gradle project to make it easy to run TRiBot and develop scripts for it. Check it out here: https://gitlab.com/trilez-software/tribot/tribot-gradle-launcher

The goals of TRiBot Central are to:

      Deliver updates to TRiBot faster

Better organize TRiBot's dependencies (AKA dependancies)

Make it easier to develop scripts for TRiBot

Make it easier to use and run TRiBot

Note: TRiBot won't be able to run scripts from within this project until TRiBot's next release.

    • Hi everyone,

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience in this transition period. Since last week, we've worked out the remaining bugs with this integration.

Some users have still been having issues with connecting their forums account to their Auth0 account. To resolve this, we've imported all forums accounts into Auth0.

Unfortunately, the accounts which were imported today were using an unsupported password hashing algorithm. Hence, random passwords were set during the import.

What does this mean for me?

If you've previously linked your forums account to your Auth0 account, you don't have to do anything. Nothing changes for you.

If you haven't logged in via our new login yet,

Try logging in with your forums email address and the last password you used

If you are unable to login, please use the "Forgot password" tool on the login page:
Follow the instructions to reset your password

    • Hello everyone,

Last week we tried to roll out Auth0 Login, but we lost that battle. Now it's time to win the war!

      Important changes

When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials

Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being)

      Changes for existing users

You'll have to link your Auth0 account to your forums account here: https://tribot.org/forums/settings/login/?service=11

Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login.

      Important notes

Make sure to verify your email address upon creating a new Auth0 account

When we mention your Auth0 account, we mean your account used for auth.tribot.org as displayed below
