Ark 493 Posted June 1, 2023 Share Posted June 1, 2023 Clearing your Hooks and Cache A simple guide to follow if your scripts are behaving strangely. Why might I need to do this? Your client’s hooks and/or cache may occasionally, for one reason or another, corrupt locally. This isn’t anything alarming to worry about and poses no risk to your accounts, but it can cause the client to pass on incorrect information to your scripts, such as incorrect values for items/objects. This can cause strange behaviour. These issues are not bugs and can be resolved with the steps below in seconds. It is recommended to do these steps if you encounter any issues while running your scripts. Please do this before you file a bug report, as this can resolve issues quickly and simply. These issues are more likely to occur after game updates, but can occur randomly as well. Step-by-step: 1. Close all running clients. 2. Start a new TRiBot client. 3. At the splash screen, select the “Open Bulk Client Launcher” option. 4. Go to “Tools” and then “Clear TRiBot Hooks/Cache”. This is the first option in the drop down. 5.
