What is the Guardians of the Rift (GotR) minigame? The Guardians of the Rift minigame (link) is a P2P Runecrafting minigame in OSRS where the player mines essence, creates runes and uses rune batteries to protect the Rift Guardian from Abyssal monsters. It is an excellent source of Runecrafting XP (considered by many the new low-mid Runecrafting meta), has unique and powerful rewards and provides a respectable source of profit, particularly for higher level accounts. Requirements: 27 Runecrafting Temple of the Eye quest Why Guardians of the Rift? The Guardians of the Rift was introduced to offer an alternative Runecrafting training method. It provides: One of the fastest reliable ways from 27-99 Runecrafting XP rates of 20k to 60k xp/hour Arguably the healthiest balance of XP/hour relative to profit for any method Profit rates from 100k gp/hour to 600k gp/hour, dependent on levels and quests (see below) One of the easiest and fastest ways for Ironmen to get large numbers of runes with 0 preparation time Valuable, meta-defining rewards, including: Abyssal Needle – allows the creation of the Colossal Pouch, which combines all of the other pouches into one and increases RC rates by a large % Raiments of the Eye – a Runecrafting Skilling set that gives 60% bonus runes when Runecrafting – this is a 60% flat profit increase Ring of the Elements – gives a direct teleport to any of the Elemental altars, allowing Lava/Mud Runecrafting to generate 100k+ xp/hour - also worth several million gp when sold on the GE Guardian’s Eye – recolours the RC pet as the elder guardian Grants Mining and Crafting XP that adds up over time quickly Has a cool pet that multiple users of this script have acquired Why ARKGuardians Pro? How do I get the most out of the Minigame? The minigame’s effectiveness can be heavily boosted with a number of items and quests that give more XP and profit per hour. Varrock Armour – this diary reward gives extra ore when mining the essence veins and leads to more Runecrafting -> more xp and profit per hour. 56 Agility – allows you to use the Agility Mining Area, where essence is mined at around twice the normal rate. Runecrafting quests: Troll Stronghold – allows you to craft Law Runes with 55 RC. Lost City – allows you to craft Cosmic Runes with 27 RC. Mourning’s End Part 2 – allows you to craft Death Runes with 65 RC – massively increases XP and profit. Sins of the Father – allows you to craft Blood Runes with 77 RC – massively increases XP and profit. Lunar Diplomacy – this allows you to use Pouches. Repairing pouches through the Abyss actually loses XP/hour compared to not using them, so Lunar Diplomacy + 67 Magic for NPC Contact boost profit and XP by a lot. Mining Levels – increases essence mining rate. High level pickaxe – increases essence mining rate. Raiments of the Eye (Runecrafting Outfit) - boosts the number of runes generated by 60%. In the minigame, this also boosts the number of guardian stones generated when crafting runes, meaning this set provides a large increase in XP and profit per hour. Abyssal Lantern – a reward from the minigame, lighting this and equipping it can give strong buffs to XP and profit. When using 3 pouches, the bot fills the pouches and only chisels 6 or so more of essence before running off into the altars. Shouldn't it fill pouches and then chisel a whole inventory? Must run off if portals are open That doesn't sound right - I think you'll need to PM me some gifs, as the script is running smoothly at the moment for everyone else and doesn't behave as you describe unless it's running to a power-up portal to the large remains (which is what it's supposed to do). It may be that you don't fully understand what the script is doing, or there may be an issue with the script that is affecting your account in particular, maybe to do with Looking Glass and the inherent lag it introduces. (tried multiple worlds) it sometimes gets pasted this, fills the pouches, then stands still. setting is filling large pouch, When game starts it tries to run to start area. doesn't go down. This is LG I'll take a look at Looking Glass this evening, as it seems to be not functioning as intended - I generally advise against using it, as I don't believe it is worth it personally and it is quite prone to issues. If you could send me your debug via PM that will help me work out what's going on. Please also clear your hooks and cache using Naton's hook and cache clearance tool, as this is the most common cause of issues Here is the link to the cache clearance tool: Edit: Having tested extensively on Looking Glass, this is almost definitely to do with your cache and client being corrupt Let me know how it goes! I have noticed that it will fill the giant pouch, but will never empty it when crafting the runes. Should I just run with 3 pouches? Not much of an issue as the additional space might give a small xp boost but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue? Sounds like this was linked to a period of either high latency (ping) on your end, or a corrupted client cache that was resolved. Glad to hear it is now working for you! Unfamiliar with this minigame. @Ark Looks like you're lagging after it tries to empty the first pouch so it just commits to opening the next two in sequence. Your ping is probably quite high. PSA For obvious reasons the new update that made some quite large changes to the minigame will cause the script to not function as intended - these will be fixed within the next few hours! Some of them actually improve XP/hour (e.g. the timers) and so the script will be better after these changes Update.... Pushed Patch V1.16: Updated script following the large changes to GotR introduced with the last OSRS patch! Please restart and clear the cache. tried above what you said, still getting same error You may need to reinstall, as that error only occurs when your client is functionally corrupt. Have you tried both Naton's tool and the Bulk Client Launcher cache clearer? And were all of your clients closed when you did it? Some users also find they may need to open a normal client first (just so it loads) after clearing hooks for TRiBot to work as intended. RiKiMaRu223 0 Posted March 31, 2022 Share Posted March 31, 2022 Hi Ark, Would it be possible to add a function that allows us to enter the amount of guardian fragments i want to collect at the start of the game as this is based on mining level. reason being, at my level it collects 170 fragments at the start then leaves to craft, but by the time it finishes crafting them and moving them into the pouches the portal spawns, but it ignores the portal as my inventory is almost full at that time and therefor it will continue this loop and ignore the portals as the next time it pops up i will almost have my inventory full again. Whereas if i could enter 150 fragments to be collected at the start then i will be able to enter enter all portals and maximize exp. sorry if this sound a little complicated lol but i hope you get what i mean.
